Musiqo music platform

Musiqo was a music platform where independent musicians can publish the music that they produce and sell it directly to users on their own terms. This was a project which I initiated and funded. It was a fully fledged, international, multi currency, streaming media, mobile commercial grade platform. I pulled together a great team to build and design the platform over 3.5 years. There was also a lot of business administration involved, I trademarked the name, solved international tax challenges, worked with lawyers to create robust T&Cs, and applied for a US patent for the ‘quality score’ logic. It was an incredibly tough decision to pull the plug on Musiqo – which I decided to do after realising the harsh truth that the commercial potential just wasn't there. I consider this my personal MBA.

Note that some of the sketches here refer to 'Twist FM' which was Musiqo's first name :)
